Official Opening of the House that Love Built

On Valentine's Day, Ronald McDonald House Westmead officially opened the doors to its newest facility and the largest House of its kind in NSW, which will help provide even more families with a home away from home while their sick or injured child is undergoing treatment.

The House was formally opened by His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Lady Cosgrove and Dr. Geoff Lee, Member for Parramatta. Following the ceremony, guests toured the new House to experience what will become home for up to 371 people each night for many years to come.
